Hunting Season!
Character Animation | 2025
I wanted to experiment animating a character with parent controlling both hands, and I wanted to do something else than just swinging the weapon. I to make the character struggle with precision, and what better to struggle with than hunting.
I recorded myself using an umbrella as reference, then converted the video to an 24 FPS image sequence in Premiere Pro after lining up the reference. Upon importing the reference into Maya, I used a pre-rigged model (I did not model or make) and animated most of the movement off of reference, with a little personal tinkering, and ended with a robot on the hunt.
Deadpool 2: School Fight!
InAnimate Object Animation | 2024
This project was personally challenging because I had to model, texture, rig, and animate everything on my own, but I’m proud with the results. It took me three weeks to set up the models and the environment, and five weeks to animate and compose the 29-shot scene.
I modeled, rigged, and animated the animation in Maya, textured the models in Adobe Substance, and composed together in Adobe Premiere Pro.
Get Out of Here!
Character Animation | 2025
I wanted to animate something more dynamic and full of personality, so I filmed myself, filled to the brim with sass, and shoved my friend in a swivel chair.
I used pre-made rigs, filmed the footage and converted it into a sequence in Premiere, and animated the product in Maya.
This Pizza has Pineapple!
Character Animation | 2025
This robot is very anti pineapple on pizza, so he was very disappointed in what he was served
I borrowed the pre-rigged model from my professor, animated the final product in Maya, and filmed the reference, which was then converted in Premiere.
